Seattle’s Neighborhood Matching Fund announces funding programs for 2019

SEATTLE (January 17, 2019) – Seattle Department of Neighborhoods’ Neighborhood Matching Fund (NMF) announces the 2019 funding opportunities for community-initiated projects. Its two funds – the Small Sparks Fund and the Community Partnership Fund – support grassroots projects that build stronger neighborhoods and communities such as park improvements, public art, cultural festivals, community organizing, and much more.

Community Conversation on Arts & Culture

Tuesday, November 13th Community Conversation

From 6:30-8pm at the Lake City Community Center

Join us for a Community Conversation on Arts and Culture in Lake City. Meet local artists who have been creating all the wonderful murals around Lake City, enjoy a live Peruvian dance performance and show your support to Coyote Central as they look to expand their programs for youth ages 10-15 in our neighborhood. There will be free food in addition to information from City departments on grant opportunities as well as a Lake City Collective outreach table. Don’t miss it!
