“We (Sound Generations) are looking to get donations of used tablets or iPads or other similar devices from community members to give out to those seniors who do not have any access to technology. Donating devices will be a great way to recycle them while providing assistance to older adults in Seattle. We will train our Lake City Seniors member in how to use apps such as Zoom, FaceTime, YouTube, etc. allowing them to access online classes, use video chats to talk with family members, and have access to many other resources, so as to increase engagement and reduce isolation.”
