“Two new Sound Transit light rail stations at 130th and 145th Streets will serve the neighborhoods of Haller Lake, Pinehurst, Olympic Hills, Victory Heights, as well as the urban villages of Lake City and Bitter Lake.Take our survey to help the planning team learn more about the needs and priorities of the community as we begin our station-area planning efforts.” More information here.

Please join us for a Community Conversations event about the Lake City Urban Core.
We will be discussing the LIHI proposed housing project, Festival Street, walkability, openspace, and how all this fits into the Lake City Vision.
Presentations with Q&A after will include:
- LIHI – a presentation by the architects for the proposed Low Income Housing Institute’s Lake City Housing Development at 12705 30th Avenue NE, at the corner of 30th NE and NE 127th Street…..a great time to give them feedback about design!!!!!
- LCFF Planning and Development Committee……Learn about community efforts to establish a vision for development in our community and how we are working with the city to create new Development Guidelines
- OPCD/SDOT – Festival Street on 28th Avenue NE……an opportunity for enlivening our farmers market and a place for public gathering….similar to Pike Place Market!!!
- LCNA Openspace Committee…..A new Community Center?!!!!

Mayor Signs Zoning Legislation for LC
