Did You Miss Lucha Libre?

Lake City Collective Brought Lucha Libre to Lake City

Working through a grant from the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods, the Lake City Collective transformed the Lake City Community Center and brought the community together for a very special and unique event in the neighborhood. The turn out was tremendous and the large crowd was thrilled with this free event that brought Mexican style theatrical wrestling to the north end. The event was also a pot luck with food from local restaurants as well as delightful dishes from attendants. The event was complete with kids crafts, Lucha Libre merchandise, free popcorn and outreach tables. It was truly one of the best events of 2018 for Lake City.
