Coyote Seeking Two Positions

At Coyote we are continuing to work on finding ways to be more equitable as an
organization. This includes our commitment to educating ourselves, the outreach and
connections we try to build, and finding ways to leverage our resources to
support BIPOC artists, organizations, and community members.

We have two teaching artist calls open that are fairly time sensitive. Priority will go to
Indigenous, Black, and POC artists. Please read through, pass along, and apply as
soon as you’re able!

1. Studio Coyote Teaching Artist
Coyote is looking for a Studio Teaching Artists to join our roster as early as Spring
2021! Our 16-hour Studio Courses run on weekends or school breaks. Applicants
should be innovative, flexible, creative, and ready to teach through an equity lens.

We have a special need for: Jewelers, Chefs, Dancers, Fiber Artists, Illustrators,
Graffiti Artists, Wood workers, or Welders

2. Digital Media BootcampLead Teaching Professional
Coyote is looking for a Digital Media Professional to lead our Digital Media Bootcamp.
This 3-month program is designed to build an entry point for young Black, Brown, and
Indigenous youth into Digital Arts career fields. Coyote will serve as a mock client for
the design intensive, allowing students to create real world content for our various digital
marketing and social media needs while building up their portfolio. 8-12 Students will
also develop soft skills in communication and presentation. We are especially looking
for artists who might reflect the students in the program.

Compensation: $2,725 – $2,887.50 + time for shopping/fabrication, if needed
Dates: Wednesdays 4:00-6:30 | April, May, and June
