Clean Up on Sunday the 25th

This Sunday we will meet in the Wells Fargo Parking lot off of NE 130th. 5-6pm  –  Join us for just 1 hour!!!
Thank you to Rachelle, Chris and David who have joined the Sunday Clean Up efforts many times. This last Sunday, September 18th,  they helped pick up garbage including needles, dozens of cans and bottles, a baseball bat, a shopping cart, broken glass and hundreds of cigarette butts along 28th NE, 27th NE and 127th and in Albert Davis Park.
So far this year our LCFF clean up crews have been to:
Cedar Park/West of Walgreens, Behind LA Fitness, Around Jaliscos, many times to Little Brook, NE 130th between 30th NE and LCW, many times to Albert Davis Park and 28th NE(Farmers Market area)

Gather a few of your neighbors and we will bring supplies, t-shirts and good cheer.

Community Conversation

Crime and Safety Issues

August 31st – 6-7:30 PM

Lake City Community Center

Please join the Lake City Community for our Next Community Conversation to discuss issues related to crime and safety in our neighborhood. Representatives from the Seattle Police Department’s North Precinct, City of Seattle Departments, and partner organizations will be on hand to provide information and strategies so that we all might better “Enjoy Lake City” . Some free snacks and kids activities will be provided.

Annie from Two Dog Yoga and Annette from the Kaffeeklatsch are co-chairs of our “Clean & Safe” Committee. Come out and thank them for all the work they have been doing with their Clean Up efforts in Lake City and find out how you can get involved.

We are cleaning up Lake City

Sunday August 21st from 5-6 PM

Please meet us at the corner of 32nd Ave NE and NE 137th Ave.

Gloves, grabbers and garbage bags are provided plus some cold bottled water to keep us hydrated.
Wear your Green Lake City T-shirts or get one this Sunday and have a $1 pint of beer at Hellbent Brewery afterwards!
