Lake City Farmers Market

Update From the Fabulous Molly Burke: Lake City Farmers Market Manager

As June approaches we usually are gearing up for the opening of the Lake City Farmers Market and look forward to it running into the autumn months. Build Lake City Together is working with Molly and the Neighborhood Farmers Market Foundation to keep updated on the status of our market during our collective experience with the pandemic.

Our honorary Lake Cityzen and community advocate extraordinaire, Molly Burke, would like to share the following; Due to the COVID-19 HOLD with the City of Seattle, all farmers market permits have been on hold in Seattle. The Neighborhood Farmers Market (NFM) will know more updated information in the weeks ahead about the seasonal farmers markets. For current updates check:  and follow them on Instragram-Facebook & Twitter at: seattlefarmersmarkets

Please do note that the University District Farmers Market (UDFM), the West Seattle Farmers Market (WSFM)  and the Ballard market are permitted to operate week to  week  at this point in time. They are operating under the COVID -19 guidelines  –  rules & regulations from  the City of Seattle and Public Health  (King County Health Department).

UDFM is on Saturdays  –  9:00-2:00    University Way  & 50th Ave N.E.   PLEASE check the website before going to the market  to understand the rules for shoppers at  this market and any farmers market in the City of Seattle.

We will be communicating any updates we get and look forward to our LC Market returning in some capacity as soon as possible.
