Design Review Coming for Large Lake City Development

Over 400 Units of New Housing In the Heart of Lake City

There will be an initial design review on January 9th for what is described as a two building concept containing 404 units. They are planning 268 stalls of parking, mostly underground, and a little over 7,500 feet of commercial space. The two buildings (each six stories) will replace what currently is Aurora Rents, Thriftology/Aorta Artists/HeartSpace, the adult XXX retailer, and Kilimanjaro Market.

The development site abuts the new Polaris development by the Inland Group slated to open in April or May of 2023 (with 225 units of Workforce Housing).
