Busy Times in the Neighborhood
There has been a lot happening this month with still more to come! We wrapped up our regular clean up schedule with the “Fall Clean” on Sunday, October 21st. A huge thank you to over 65 volunteers who came out and supported the effort. The event coincided with the Celebration of Life of a true Lake City hero, Chuck Dickey. It was great to see so many people from the community come out to honor one of our very best “Lake Cityzens”.
LCFF and Kaffeeklatsch delivered over 300 pumpkins to the North Seattle Family Resource Center (NSFRC), Family Works and in advance of the 3rd Annual Lake City Pumpkin Palooza coming up on Sunday, October 28th.
But before we get to that we have the 26th Annual Trick or Treat Walk sponsored by NSFRC and LCFF with Fright Night immediately following at the Lake City Community Center (Friday, October 26th starting at 5:15 at the Lake City Mini Park).
We hosted Senator David Frockt on Monday, October 22nd for a business luncheon. A big thanks to Hellbent Brewery for providing space and to Manoushe Express for the wonderful food.
