Great Turn Out For Rainy Fall Clean

Nearly 70 Neighbors Brave Seattle Weather for BLCT’s Final Clean Up in 2019

Build Lake City Together’s “Fall Clean” was a huge success with many youth and families coming out to provide a little TLC to LC. A huge thank you to the participants as well as to Kaffeeklatsch and Elliott Bay Brewery who provided sandwiches and treats for volunteers. Also thank you to Molly from the Lake City Farmers Market for her help and support. It was really great to see so many young people and families.

While this concludes the regular scheduled clean up for BLCT in 2019 (we will be back in April 2020!), other groups are still going strong with their work. Muriel Lawty in Little Brook continues to rally neighbors for regular clean up efforts as do organizations and residents of 33rd Avenue. If you are interested in starting a clean up group for your neighborhood please reach out to Chris.Leverson@chs-wa.org to get information and connected to supplies.
